In 2001, we opened the doors to Farr West Engineering in Reno, Nevada, dedicating ourselves to providing the highest quality civil, environmental and forensic engineering. In that first decade, through a commitment to the highest level of service - we've achieved that goal. And yet, we remain as devoted as ever, staying true to those core values and work ethic that have contributed to the success of our clients and projects.
In 2012 Farr West Engineering acquired Chilton Engineering & Surveying in Elko, Nevada. Chilton Engineering has been serving municipal and private clients throughout Nevada for over a century with a succession of proprietorships by several renowned engineers and surveyors. This strategic acquisition has made our company stronger and more versatile by enhancing our resources, our client base, and our expertise.
Today, Farr West Engineering employs 30 professionals that work together as a team to seamlessly service clients throughout Nevada in civil and environmental engineering, survey, water rights, and construction management. The divers services offered by Farr West Engineering cover all aspects of a project, including feasibility, design, permitting, implementation and inspection. Our greatest strength is municipal engineering and public works, where we have designed and managed numerous large and complex projects for the public sector.
