
Dave Hunt is a Senior Project Manager at Farr West Engineering. Dave has more than 20 years of civil and environmental engineering experience within the water and wastewater field, including a progressive knowledge of managing projects, budgets and staff during the planning, design and construction management of infrastructure projects. He places a high priority on developing positive relationships with his clients and the communities in which he works.
The focus of Dave's career has been the development and management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects for small and medium sized municipalities. As a result, he is proficient in master planning, capital improvement program development, regulatory and environmental compliance, and preparation of plans and specifications for pipelines, pump stations, water supply wells, treatment facilities, civil site work, and construction management and inspection. Having administered Nevada's Surface Water Treatment Rule program for the Nevada State Health Division for more than six and a half years, Dave also has extensive regulatory knowledge.
Dave received his bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from California State University Long Beach. He is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer in Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, and a long standing member of the American Waterworks Association and American Society of Civil Engineers.
Dave balances his professional career with community involvement and family time. In his leisure time, Dave runs local youth basketball and baseball programs and enjoys camping, fishing, and hunting with family and friends.
