Project Highlight: Silver Springs Mutual Water Company Arsenic Removal Treatment Plant
Farr West designed a new water treatment facility for the Silver Springs Mutual Water Company. The facility was designed to remove arsenic from the drinking water supply in order to meet new federal standards, and had a construction cost of approximately $3,000,000. A coagulation/filtration treatment technology was utilized to remove the arsenic. Farr West provided construction management and full-time construction inspection throughout the entire project. The construction manager and inspector worked with the owner and contractor to deliver a quality project on time and within the budget.
