Obtaining permits and environmental clearance for capital projects from local, state and federal agencies can be a difficult and time consuming effort. However, getting the process right will save time and prevent delays during the project. Many of the capital projects Farr West Engineering works on are funded by state and federal sources, which usually require some type of environmental review process or compliance. As a result of our extensive experience, we have navigated those requirements for our clients with tremendous success.
In addition to environmental compliance, Farr West has experience obtaining a broad range of permits. These permits may pertain to specific projects, such as from the Nevada Department of Transportation, while others are required for businesses to continue to operate and prosper, such as an air quality permit. Our clients rely on our permitting experience for successful project and business operation.
Farr West has developed excellent working relationships with government entities including the USDA, Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), FEMA, State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), BLM, Bureau of Reclamation, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and Nevada State Divisions of Wildlife, Water Pollution Control, Clean Drinking Water and Air Quality.
