Farr West Engineering has recently expanded our services to include Electrical Engineering and Design Services. We would like to welcome Bill Cassity, P.E. to our engineering group. Bill is our Principal Electrical and SCADA Engineer with over 20 years of electrical design experience in Northern California and Nevada.

Farr West Engineering is pleased to announce the acquisition of Chilton Engineering & Surveying located in Elko, Nevada. Chilton Engineering has been serving municipal and private clients throughout Nevada for over a century. This strategic acquisition will make our company stronger and more versatile by enhancing our resources, our client base and our expertise.

Farr West Engineering is pleased to announce the acquisition of Sierra Controls, LLC. Sierra Controls (formerly Sierra Control Systems) is a system integrator and equipment manufacturer for water measurement and control systems. They have been servicing Northern Nevada and California with SCADA system design and implementation, Water Instrument Controls, and Electrical Engineering/Design for over 40 years. Together, we are one of the largest and most experienced groups of professionals serving the water, wastewater, and agriculture industries in the area.

Through our combined companies, clients have access to Sierra Controls’ expertise with SCADA and control systems, as well as Farr West Engineering’s civil and electrical engineering services.
